Responsibilities:
NURSE MANAGER Position - Behavioral Health - Psychiatry
Horizon Health seeks a Nurse Manager to work on a 10-bed inpatient Geropsychiatric Unit in the Lakewood Health System Hospital in Staples, MN. Lakewood Health Systems offers intensive and comprehensive care to patients 55 and older.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, implement and evaluate delivery of overall nursing care to patients.
  • Provide managerial support in conjunction to the Program Director by providing supervision and evaluation of all nursing personnel on the unit.
  • Contribute to the program, nursing and hospital through commitment to nursing goals, the supervision of clinical staff, and participation in the community relations program.
  • The nurse manager reports administratively to the Program Director and clinically to the Facility Director of Nursing.

Qualifications:
  • BSN and 3 years of acute care inpatient psychiatric management experience in a hospital setting;
  • OR previous management experience in another field plus clinical psychiatric experience, preferably on an acute care psych unit.
